Ferns...they are back! ...did they ever leave?

Ferns...I heart them.
I was watching Mad Men last night and low & behold my eyes just kept going to the lovely greenery all around the sets. From the top of the fridge in the office kitchen to the recess wall of plants outside the office to the apartments of various characters. So I thought I'd do a little post about ferns.
Those of you that live in Oregon let me recommend visiting Fern Canyon, Gold Bluffs Beach just a quick jaunt south. Magical.

For those of you that want to bring that magic indoors....its easy and joyous!
Ferns do not require a lot of light. Although my maiden hairs go nuts for the sun. They do require water and like to be spritzed/misted, never let a fern dry out.....unless it is a stag.
Staghorns like to grow into bark like they do in nature. So mounting them on bark or sorts on the wall or from the ceiling is often a jaunty project. And they like to get a bit dry in between waterings.
