Well hello its been a while

Summer came in with a HOT BANG.  All the flowers were a bit confused and early. But we're making the best of it and celebrating all the local everyday flower love.

Mother's Day...and a little break

We hope everyone enjoyed this wonderful Mother's Day weekend.  We sure did!  Thank you for supporting local shops.

The shop will be closed Tuesday 12th thru Thursday 14th, for some rest and rebooting.
We will still be taking orders/deliveries so give us a holla.

Hello Summer!

Wow time has been flying, in the most joyous way of course!

 The growing season is just starting to swing into summer flowers, woohoo! We've been working with some wonderful new local farmers this year as well as our old favorites ;)
 

Emerald Petals is proud to be a member of Slow Flowers.  Which is a nationwide online directory of florists, flower growers, studios, and shops who design with American grown flowers.  It's pretty frickin cool. 

Oh ya baby! Wedding season is here.

and a lovely little message and photo I received the day after one of the weddings.

vacation time

Well it's the middle of August, can you believe it?  I just completed one of the busiest wedding weekends I've ever had the pleasure of taking on.  Four unique, fabulously sweet couples, and some rad mothers of the brides.

Thank the heavens for my fantastic team of helpers, YOU ROCKed it!

And now it is that time again for a bit of R&R.  The shop will be closed Thursday August 15 until Tuesday August 20th.

Thank you for understanding.

from the very sweet wedding of Sarah & Michael, 

I did back in April. 

Oh boy so much going on.

... WE ARE MOVING!, yup it's true.  The shop is being relocated just a couple blocks south.  We are moving in with Flutter, a shop filled with vintage goodies, local jewelry, books, and "A delightful disarray of found objects and clutter".  Sad to leave our cozy lil' shop but excited for things to come. Deciding to move was a hard decision and we hope that our regulars won't mind coming on down to get their flower fix.  Hope to be all moved in on April 25th.
It will be a whole new adventure...hopefully just one big jaunty party.

September wedding

Mid-Summer deep in wedding land

Congratulations to Kimberly & Kelly!

They celebrated their love ocean side complete with surfboard boutonniere for the groom :) 

 All the corsages and boutonnieres were wrapped in moss, joy.

Congratulations to Sara & Jasin!

Loved doing a red and chocolate wedding.  I had so much fun setting up for them at Bridal Veil Lakes, love that venue.
